Our Leadership

Jan Andersen – CEO & Founder

For the past 15 years, Jan has led or been an integral part of teams that have sited, permitted, and built more than 8 GW of wind, solar, storage and transmission, overseeing land acquisition, development, strategic communications and the on-the-ground grassroots mobilizing necessary to local and statewide support for projects.

He has extensive transmission development experience, having spent 4+ years working on the development of the SunZia, Western Spirit and Southern Spirit transmission lines.

Matt Langley – CCO & Founder

Matt has been working in energy for over 15 years.  In that time, he has negotiated several GW of power purchase agreements with various utilities, corporate buyers and financial institutions.  He was part of the executive team that built Infinity Renewables from 5 employers to Engie’s North American platform.

He has been involved in long haul transmission projects from the outset of his career until now.  He was responsible for
negotiating the commercial agreements that enabled the construction of Pattern Energy’s Western Spirit and SunZia projects. 

Our Team

Robin Saiz – Head of Development

Robin brings more than 18 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with development expertise in large scale solar, wind and transmission projects. At NextERa, Robin was instrumental in the development of over 1500 MWs of wind across Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. He was also responsible for the development of a 230-mile 345kV transmission line for the Horse Hollow wind project as well as the development of the CREZ strategy for the Texas portfolio.

Tristan Linquist – Research Analyst

Tristan has spent almost three years working in renewables as a research analyst, consultant, and developer. He brings expertise and a wide range of market analysis in fossil fuel replacement and de-carbonization, lithium-ion and LDES intelligence, and regulatory and policy planning.  Additionally, Tristan has significant experience in long-lead team research, business development, strategic thinking,  systems development, and grant formulation and review.

Nathan Hedrick – Developer

Nathan began his career as a Land Specialist in Florida working for NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. He worked on various wind and transmission projects from west Texas to Toronto, Canada. He then went on to become the Land Services Supervisor in Austin, Texas for Lone Star Transmission, LLC. At LST he was given the task to build $1B, 220 mile transmission lines across Texas that sole priority transport power from renewable generation. During that time, Nathan oversaw all land development.
