Our Team
Our team brings together close to a century of combined experience in linear infrastructure, transmission development, and renewable energy — including more than 15 GW of wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects sited, permitted, and built across private, public, and indigenous lands.
We’ve led land efforts for major transmission lines, permitted first-of-their-kind renewable projects, and helped scale a renewable energy company from five employees into a global platform. That experience shows up in how we work today: transparent with landowners, responsive to community concerns, and disciplined about getting projects permitted and built on time and budget.
We’re united by a shared commitment to solving complex grid challenges thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with a long-term perspective.
For the past 15 years, Jan has led or been an integral part of teams that have sited, permitted, and built more than 8 GW of wind, solar, storage and transmission, overseeing land acquisition, development, strategic communications and the on-the-ground grassroots mobilizing necessary to local and statewide support for projects.
He has extensive transmission development experience, having spent 4+ years working on the development of the SunZia, Western Spirit and Southern Spirit transmission lines.
Jan Andersen

Richard is a Development Associate at Jubilee Transmission, where he identifies and evaluates new transmission line projects from the ground up, assessing grid need, commercial viability, and permitting feasibility before a project moves forward. Richard graduated from UC Berkeley in 2026 with a degree in environmental economics and policy, and joined Jubilee full-time after a year interning with the company.
Richard Cherry LaBourene
Development Associate
Madison joined Jubilee in early 2026 on the commercial team and has helped bring multiple projects further into development. She leads commercial strategy for Jubilee's transmission projects in New Mexico and southern Colorado, from market analysis through interconnection, commercial agreements, and stakeholder engagement with tribal nations, utilities, and landowners. With over 5 years in renewable energy, she brings a strong understanding of PPAs, RFP execution, and client relations.
Madison Hart
Commercial Manager
Kori has spent seven years leading permitting for large offshore wind and transmission projects. As Permitting Manager at Ocean Winds, she led environmental review for SouthCoast Wind, a 2.4-gigawatt project, coordinating NEPA, Section 106, and ESA review to a Record of Decision. She joined Jubilee Transmission in August 2026 as Project Development Manager, carrying projects from development through construction readiness.
Kori Ktona
Project Development Manager
Liz joined Jubilee in October 2024 as an early-stage team member and has been
instrumental in establishing operational infrastructure to support the company's
transmission initiatives. As Director of Operations, they lead Human Resources,
Information Technology, and Accounts Payable functions while also leading the day-to-day
office development and event planning. Liz also contributes to critical regulatory and
environmental permitting processes essential to the company's growth. She has assisted
in a 115% team expansion building scalable systems that enable continued advancement
of Jubilee's power transmission development mission.
Liz Kvaavik
Director of Operations
Matt has been working in energy for over 15 years. In that time, he has negotiated several GW of power purchase agreements with various utilities, corporate buyers and financial institutions. He was part of the executive team that built Infinity Renewables from 5 employers to Engie’s North American platform.
He has been involved in long haul transmission projects from the outset of his career until now. He was responsible for negotiating the commercial agreements that enabled the construction of Pattern Energy’s Western Spirit and SunZia projects.

Michael Leidesdor. is CFO of Jubilee Transmission, leading the company’s financialstrategy and capital planning. A seasoned executive with institutional investor experience,he brings a track record of successful outcomes, including hands-on M&A and IPO work, toJubilee's leadership. His background spans both operating and investing roles acrossenergy, technology, and infrastructure companies.
Michael Leidesdori
Chief Financial Officer
Tristan has been with Jubilee since its inception in various roles focusing on business development, new project origination, and pre-development. Prior to Jubilee, Tristan worked on long duration energy storage, the carbon transition, transmission regulations and planning, long-lead time start-up development, and wide-ranging R&D. Additionally, he has done due diligence analysis on portfolio and project M&A for tens of billions of dollars of aggregate value throughout the energy space. Tristan received a Master of Education from the University of Oregon and taught a wide range of subjects to high school students in underserved communities for fifteen years before working in energy.
Tristan Linquist
Commercial Manager
Sara Powers is the GIS Associate at Jubilee Transmission, where she creates mapping deliverables spanning routing, siting, permitting, and environmental review. She also develops geospatial tools to support decision making within the project development cycle. She holds a B.A. in Computer Science with a Geoscience minor from Skidmore College. Her background includes geological mapping with the New York State Geological Survey, GIS consulting across renewable energy and geology sectors, and archaeological research in Guatemala. She worked as a contractor with Jubilee for one year before joining the team full time this summer.
Sara Powers

Bria is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied Environmental Economics and
Policy. Before graduating, she gained research and internship experience in the energy sector,
gaining a strong interest in energy infrastructure and the transition of the electric grid. She now
works as a Project Development Associate, supporting project research, permitting and
regulatory analysis, and early stage development processes.
Bria Roettger
Project Development Associate
Saad Syed is Vice President of Grid and Transmission Planning at Jubilee Transmission, where he leads the development and planning of large-scale transmission infrastructure projects across key U.S. markets. With deep expertise in transmission system planning, interconnection strategy, and regional grid dynamics, he focuses on advancing backbone
infrastructure to support accelerating load growth, generation integration, and emerging
demand from data centers and electrification.
Prior to Jubilee, Saad has worked closely with utilities, developers, and system operators
on complex transmission initiatives spanning multiple regions.
